WINCHESTER, Va. – A pair of home meets highlight the 2018 men's and women's cross country schedule as released by head coach Andy Marrocco Tuesday morning.
Marrocco, heading into his 13th year as the head coach of the two programs, hosts the annual Hornet Harrier/Commonwealth Challenge on Saturday, September 22 as well as the ODAC Championships on Saturday, October 27.
The Hornet Harrier, now in its 10th year, will also serve as a preview meet for the ODAC Championships on the final weekend of October.
Both meets are scheduled for Kernstown Battlefield just south of Winchester.
In addition to the two home meets, SU travels to the Salisbury Sea Gull Opener on September 1, the JMU Invitational on September 8 and the Mike Woods Invitational hosted by Geneseo (N.Y.) State on September 29.
The final regular season meet is the Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Oberlin College on October 13.
"We are obviously very excited to be able to host the ODAC Championships for the first time," Marrocco said. "Kernstown is a great venue and to have it host a conference championship in addition to the Hornet Harrier and the 2015 NCAA Regional is a testament to its quality.
"I look forward to a great year with both of our programs."
