KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Junior women's soccer star Emily Yergin has earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors in selections announced Monday by the organization.
Yergin, a forward, was selected to the All-South Atlantic third team after finishing second in the ODAC in scoring with 43 points on 16 goals and 11 assists.
Those totals were good for second in the league in assists and third in goals.
With 48 career goals and 22 assists for 118 points, Yergin is three goals, eight assists and 14 points from the all-time lead at SU in each of those categories.
"I am proud of Emily for earning All-Region honors for the second time in three years," head coach Liz Pike said. "She led a very young team this year and held us to a high standard. I look forward to her having an even better year next year."
