Women's Golf Maintains Spot

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – The Shenandoah University women's golf team strengthened its hold on the No. 2 spot Monday at the 2019 ODAC Championships hosted at Bryan Park outside of Greensboro, North Carolina.

With four scores in the mid 80s, the Hornets shot a collective 340 Monday over the par-73, 5800-yard layout to widen its lead over second place to 35 strokes.

IN BRIEF

Washington and Lee continues to lead the tournament with SU 45 strokes back.

Junior Katie Davis had the most dramatic improvement, posting an 11-over-par 84 to lead the Hornets on day two. 

Davis also had two of the Hornets five birdies on the day.

Madison Ngo and Emily Conrad each shot 85 and McKenzie Slattery 86 to complete the squad's scores.

Natalie Hill had an 89 that did not count toward the team total.

Hill is fifth with Ngo and Conrad tied for sixth.
