ST. CLOUD, Fla. – The Shenandoah University women's golf team earned its second win of the 2018-19 season by topping two other teams Friday at its own invitational in Florida. 

Playing a second straight day par-72, 5935-yard Royal Links of St. Cloud layout, the Hornets had a collective 345 Friday to best Marymount by 36 strokes.

IN BRIEF

Southern Virginia finished third with an 802 total.

Junior Madison Ngo had a seven-over-par 79 Friday and won the 15-woman tournament by two strokes over Alessandra Betacche from Marymount. The two women shared day two medalist honors.

Natalie Hill was third, Katie Davis fifth and both Emily Conrad and McKenzie Slattery tied for sixth for the Hornets.
