Women's Golf Completes Fall Slate

ROME, Ga. – The Shenandoah University women's golf team completed its fall season Tuesday with a 12th place performance at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational hosted by Berry College.

Playing for a second straight day at the par-72, 5851-yard Coosa Country Club, the Hornets had another collective 373 to finish in 12th in the two-day, 36-hole event. SU completed the tournament 40 shots back of Maryville (Tenn.) and 49 in front of Bethel (Tenn.).

Shorter University won the tournament by four strokes over Oglethorpe.

IN BRIEF 

Freshman Natalie Hill paced Shenandoah with a second straight 15-over-par 87 while Katie Davis had a 93, McKenzie Slattery 95 and Madison Ngo 98.

Davis improved by four strokes over her Monday score.

Ngo had the squad's lone birdie of the day, recording a '2' on the par-3, 161-yard sixth (her 15th) hole.

Hill had six pars, Davis five and both Slattery and Ngo two each.
