MT. VERNON, Ohio – The Shenandoah University women's golf team finished sixth Saturday at the Mount Vernon Nazarene Invitational hosted at Chapel Hill Golf Club.

Playing 27 holes, the Hornets shot a collective 576 to finish sixth in the 10-team tournament.

IN BRIEF 

Madonna won the tournament with a 475 while Grace had a 482 to finish second.

The Hornets were 17 shots back of Ohio Valley.

Freshman Natalie Hill had an 81 in the 18-hole morning round and a 40 over the afternoon nine-hole loop.
