Ngo Leads Women's Golf

BEAUFORT, S.C. – Sophomore Madison Ngo led the Shenandoah University women's golf team with a 16th place finish Tuesday at the adidas/TaylorMade Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.

Playing for a second straight day at the par-72, 5900-yard Morgan River course at Dataw Island, South Carolina, Ngo had a 17-over-par 89 for a 186 total to finish 16th overall.

Classmate McKenzie Slattery backed up her 98 from Monday with a 95 Tuesday to finish 22nd overall at 193.

Katie Davis, who had a 95 Monday, posted a 101 Tuesday for a 196 total and a tie for 23rd.

Hannah Henry rounded out the SU players with a 39th place showing.

Shenandoah's 419-422—841 was good for seventh in the tournament.

Ohio Dominican won the two-day, 36-hole event by 63 strokes over York (Pa.).

The women are back in action this weekend at the Mary Washington Invitational.
