FOREST, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team is picked ninth in the ODAC pre-season poll in results announced Thursday afternoon by the league office.

Shenandoah has 42 points in the poll to come in six points back of No. 8 Roanoke and 14 points clear of tenth-place Randolph College.

Nine-time defending champion Washington and Lee is picked to win its 38th overall ODAC championship again this spring. The Generals have a perfect 121 points on a 11 first-place votes.

Voting was done on an 11-1 basis and coaches were unable to vote for their own teams in the poll.

Guilford received Washington and Lee's first place vote and is picked second with 107 points.

Shenandoah opens its 2019 season this Saturday night with a 7:30 non-league home match versus PSU-Altoona.
