WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University men's soccer team earned its first ODAC win in nearly three years with a 1-0 victory over Guilford College Saturday night.

Shenandoah (4-7-1, 1-4 ODAC) won for the first time in league play since October 16, 2015, also against Guilford, with the win over the Quakers (4-6, 0-4).

SU had gone 0-25-1 in league play prior the Homecoming/Senior Night victory.

"Great effort today," head coach Matt Smith said. "I am proud of how all the players played together and represented SU so well.  Special shout out to all the seniors for a good win on their senior night."

Shenandoah hosts Randolph-Macon Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in another ODAC contest.
