BUENA VISTA, Va. - Men's soccer earned its first victory of the 2018 season in a 5-3 non-league win at Southern Virginia.
Shenandoah (1-1-1) scored four unanswered goals against the Knights (0-4) in the second half to overcome a 3-1 deficit and take the victory.

56′ | Chance Hollins collected a loose ball on the left side of the box and slipped his shot past the Knights' goalie Kostner Olson.
66′ | Andres Garces maintained possession through five SVU defenders, created space, and drilled his shot to the back of the net.
82′ | Garces controlled possession before playing the ball to David at the top of the box. David then dumped off a short pass to William Majano for the goal.
88′ | Senior Nick Seymour dribbled past the entire Knights' defense and beat the keeper for a goal.
20′ | Zach Martin scored the first goal of the game from an Elijah Mendoza cross.
43′ | Sam Kelley played the ball through the Hornet defense for Martin to score his second goal of the evening.
49′ | Martin picked up an assist for the night after he set Matthew Jones up in a one-on-one situation with goalie Sam Fischer.
