BEAUFORT, S.C. – The Shenandoah University men's golf team completed a long day of action Monday with a collective 628 over the first two rounds of the adidas-TaylorMade Invitational.

Playing at the Cotton Dike course at Dataw Island, SU had a 319 over the par-72, 6789-yard layout in the morning round before improving to a 309 in the afternoon. 

IN BRIEF

The Hornets are currently 15th and five shots back of ODAC rival Randolph-Macon after 36 of the tournament's 54 holes.

SU is also 10 shots clear of Mt. St. Joseph.

Sophomore Blake Woodie, who backed up his five-over-par 77 from the morning with a two-over 74 in the afternoon, leads the Hornets after day one. He is tied for 27th.
