Lynchburg (19-5, 10-5 ODAC) jumped out to a 31-11 lead over Shenandoah (5-18, 1-13) and kept up the pressure throughout. The hosts shot 52 percent from the field (38-of-73) and had seven of their 12 3-pointers in the first half.
Trailing by 16, 48-32, at the break, Shenandoah scored 11 of the initial 17 points of the second to cut the deficit to 11 points following a Jason Tate layup at 16:08.
SU was able to force a turnover on Lynchburg's ensuing possession, but missed a layup on its offensive end and then gave up a 3-pointer following a pair of missed Lynchburg free throws.
The 3-pointer, by Reggie Davis at 15:26, started a 16-2 run for the hosts that effectively sealed the contest.
Shenandoah shot 39 percent (27-of-68) for the game and saw Lynchburg grab 46 of the game's 81 rebounds.
Shenandoah completes its season with home games Wednesday versus Virginia Wesleyan and Saturday versus Randolph.
