FOREST, Va. – Shenandoah University earned seven football All-ODAC honors in selections announced Tuesday afternoon by the league office.

Senior Hayden Bauserman highlights these honorees with his selection as the J. Stokeley Fulton Offensive Player of the Year and his third consecutive first team honor at quarterback. Bauserman is joined on the first team offense by junior wideout Casey Stewart.

Bauserman's classmates, offensive lineman Andrew Coffman and hybrid back Jalen Hudson, earned second team accolades with Jake Wallace, Tyler Williams and Daquan Pridget selected to the third team.

Coffman and Hudson are both three-time All-ODAC honorees with Williams, a junior linebacker, now a two-time selection.

Wallace, a wide receiver, and Pridget, a defensive back, each earn All-ODAC honors for the first time in their careers. Both men are sophomores.

Bauserman set ODAC records this season for passing yards, attempts, completions and touchdowns with 355 completions in 555 attempts for 3832 yards and 43 touchdowns.

His 132 career touchdown passes is also a new ODAC record.

Bauserman, who was named ODAC Player of the Week three times this season, finished the regular season tops in Division III in passing yards, touchdowns and points responsible for.

He is the second-ever SU football player to earn ODAC Player of the Year honors. Jake Payne '16 was named as the Defensive Player of the Year.

He threw for more than 300 yards in 21 of his career 40 games, eclipsed 400 yards 10 times and 500 yards twice.

Stewart set a new program record with 15 receiving touchdowns this season on 54 receptions for 859 yards. He led the squad in receiving yards and was third in receptions.

Hudson, with 62 catches, was the Hornets second leading receiver this season and his 971 all-purpose yards was second on the squad. In addition to 554 yards receiving, Hudson had an additional 51 yards rushing and 370 yards in returns.

Hudson scored seven touchdowns receiving and one each in returns and rushing.

Coffman, who played in 31 games in his career, helped the offense to 5020 total yards this season and 40.8 points per game. He started all 10 games this season at either left guard or left tackle.

Wallace, from Virginia Beach, rounds out the offensive honorees. He led SU this season with 63 receptions for 687 yards and five touchdowns. Against Hobart in week three, he tied a program-record with 14 catches for 195 yards and three touchdowns.

Williams, in his second season as a starter at middle linebacker, led the Hornets with 93 tackles including 67 solo. His 11.0 tackles for loss led the team and he registered double-digit tackles in the Ferrum, Bridgewater and Washington and Lee contests. In those latter two games, he had 17 tackles each.

Pridget is the new owner of the interceptions-in-a-season record thanks to his seven picks this fall. He had three interceptions in the season opener versus Methodist and picked off two passes in the week 10 victory over Guilford.

Pridget finished the year with a third-best 54 tackles from his cornerback position.

The seven honorees make it 60 all-time selections in seven seasons of ODAC football for the Hornets. Seventeen of those are first team picks.
