WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Tuesday that it is again inviting all of its fans to a weekly breakfast with Head Football Coach Scott Yoder.
Yoder and his Hornets open the 2018 campaign this Saturday at 1 p.m in a non-league contest at Methodist.
Friday morning at 8 a.m. in the Clement Dining Room of Allen Dining Hall, Yoder will host the first of 10 breakfast meetings with interested fans to talk about that week's matchup.
In addition to Yoder, the assistant coaches will be in attendance at the weekly event. Co-captains Hayden Bauserman, Andrew Coffman, Chris Grady and Jordan Heisen, as well as selected other players, will be in attendance as their class schedules allow.
"We have done this for four years now and we have built a loyal following of fans that attend," Yoder said. "It is a great way for our fans to come out and interact with the players in a relaxed setting while learning about the opponent we are playing that week. I would like to invite everyone to come out and join us."
These breakfast meetings are scheduled for each Friday from August 31 through November 9 with the exception the September 21 bye week.
The cost for the breakfast, served buffet style in Allen Dining Hall, is $5.00.
