Loew, a Binghamton, New York native, hit .429 last week with six hits in 14 at-bats as the Hornets won their final four games of the regular season. Three of those wins were in league play to allow SU to lock up the No. 1 seed at this week's conference tournament for the third straight year.
Loew opened the week on Tuesday at Eastern Mennonite with a 1 for 3 afternoon that included a two-run home run.
In addition to his six hits and two home runs, Loew drove in nine, had a triple and drew four walks in 18 plate appearances.
Loew is hitting a second-best-on-squad .385 this season and leads Shenandoah in doubles, triples, home runs and runs batted in.
SU, ranked 11th in the D3baseball.com poll and 14th by the ABCA, opens up ODAC Tournament play on Thursday morning at 11 a.m. versus sixth-seeded Bridgewater.
