Wilt, the Hornets starting shortstop, was named after hitting .500 on the week as SU won three of four contests. The Mountville, Pennsylvania native was 9 for 18 in the four games with at least one hit in each contest.
Wilt drove in 10 runs on the week, two each versus No. 17 Mary Washington and Washington & Lee and had three RBI in both ends of a doubleheader sweep over Guilford Saturday. In the 8-7, 10-inning game two victory over GC, Wilt was 4 for 5 with two doubles, a home run and three RBI.
He is hitting an even .400 on the season.
