MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Shenandoah University baseball team has finished as the nation's No. 18 team in the final NCBWA/ Top 25 poll of the season released Monday by the website.

The Hornets, who won at least 30 games for the fourth straight year, have 165 points in the final poll of the season to rise two spots from the week 11 poll.

Coach Kevin Anderson's club has been ranked in every Top 25 poll since March, 2009.

Marietta (Ohio), the pre-season No. 1 and 2012 national champion, received all 25 first-place votes to top the final poll.

SU had three wins against team's ranked in the poll.

The Hornets are scheduled to open the 2013 season on February 15 against Cortland (N.Y.) State.
