FOREST, Va. – Shenandoah University had three student-athletes earn ODAC Player of the Week honors in selections announced Monday afternoon by the league office.

Reeves Lowry was selected as the Pitcher of the Week for baseball with Alyson Bittinger and Ryan Schott named as women's and men's Player of the Week for lacrosse, respectively.

Lowry tossed the initial 8.0 innings of an 8-1 ODAC win over Emory and Henry Sunday and scattered three hits and four walks while striking out five. 

Bittinger, the 2018 ODAC Rookie of the Year, led the women's lacrosse team to wins over Widener and Marywood with nine goals and three assists for 12 points. The Westminster, Maryland native also added 13 draw controls, three groundballs and one caused turnover in the two victories.

Schott also led his lacrosse team to a pair of wins – the Hornet men dominated Alvernia, 19-7, on Wednesday before taking out Guilford, 18-8, on Saturday in their ODAC opener.

The 2018 All-ODAC honoree had six goals and four assists for 10 points along with four groundballs as the Hornets improved to 5-1 on the season. 

The weekly honors are the first-ever for all three student-athletes.
