The Generals (15-7, 6-1 ODAC) won at 16, 19 and 20 over SU (9-10, 2-5).
The victory is the second this season for W&L over the Hornets. Two weekends ago at the Gallaudet Worthington Classic, the Generals were 3-1 victors.
Shenandoah jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the opening set Tuesday, but saw the hosts score nine of the next 14 points in the match to take a 10-9 lead.
SU was able to regroup and take a 12-10 advantage before the Generals took the lead for good on a 5-0 run.
W&L scored 13 of the final 17 points of the set.
The Generals held a lead throughout all of the second and the first half of the third before Shenandoah scored five straight points (four with Mary Harshman at the service line) to take a 12-10 lead.
SU maintained this two-point advantage until the Generals made their final run, this one 9-2, to clinch the victory.
Harshman paced the Hornets with 10 kills while Samantha Schamach added seven.
Shenandoah is back in action on Saturday in a home non-conference match against Lancaster Bible. This match, which was just added to the schedule this week, will start at 6:00.
