Elizabeth Pike became the seventh head coach in Shenandoah University history when she was hired in August 2007.
Pike came to Shenandoah after spending eight years as the head girl's soccer coach at Lake Braddock High School in Burke, Virginia. The Bruins won four Patriot District titles, two Northern Region and three VHSL Group AAA state championships, including both 2006 and 2007, during her tenure as head coach.
The back-to-back state titles were the first for a Group AAA school in over 20 years.

Prior to her time at Lake Braddock, Pike served as an assistant women's soccer coach at both Lebanon Valley College and her alma mater, American University. A 1994 graduate of American, Pike was a four-year starter for Eagles and earned All-America honors in 1993.
Pike still holds all major scoring records at AU, including career points and goals as well as points in a game (nine versus Catholic on October 3, 1990). She also holds the top three single season scoring performances in school history.
In February 2011, Pike was inducted into the American University Athletics Hall of Fame.
At Shenandoah, Pike has guided her team to double-digit winning seasons in the past three seasons. The 2010 team broke the school- record for victories in a season by recording 11, including a stretch of four straight in the middle of the campaign and a win over future ODAC foe Roanoke College.
In 2011, Pike shattered that previous win total, winning 15 games in the regular season and conference tournament on its way to the 2011 USA South Conference title.
The championship is the first-ever for the program and came in the team's final-ever USA South Conference contest.

Longtime Virginia high school coach James Rike is in his third season as Liz Pike's top assistant on the SU staff.
Rike, who retired in June 2009 after 32 years as a middle
school science teacher in the Fairfax County, Va. School District,
has been the head girls soccer coach at Robinson (Va.) H.S. since
1981. In that time, Rike has led the Rams to five VHSL Group AAA
state championships (1984, 1994, 1996, 2002 and 2008) in addition
to eight regional championships and 10 district titles.
He has won 30 different Coach of the Year honors during his
career, including a 2005 NHSACA National Coach of the Year honor
and being named Washington Post All-Met Coach of the Year three
times.
Prior moving to Robinson, Rike was the Head Boys Soccer Coach at Falls Church (Va.) from 1977 through 1980, and won two district championships at the Group A school. His 460 head coaching victories at Robinson and Falls Church place him No. 1 on the Virginia public school H.S. soccer wins list.
Rike also has extensive club coaching experience and has served on various NSCAA and VHSCA state and regional committees.
In November 2008, Rike was inducted into the VHSL Hall of Fame.

Coree Reuter, a club assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer, enters into her first year as an assistant coach for the SU women's soccer team.
Reuter, a 2008 graduate of Centenary College (N.J.), Reuter holds the school record at the CSAC institution for save percentage at .799.
The two-year captain started in net for three consecutive seasons, while posting at least 100 save seasons in both 2005 and 2006.
Nationally ranked in 2005 for most saves per game, Reuter went on to be named NJAIAW Woman of the Year.
Reuter continues to work as a youth club assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer at Springfield South County Youth Club in Lorton, Virginia and serves as head coach of LOUD 98 White Girls and a Goalkeeping Academy coach in Leesburg, Va.
Joel Flower

Joel Flower, a former college and prep head coach, returns for his third season on the SU women's soccer staff this fall.
Flower, a 1996 graduate of Valley Forge (Pa.) Christian, led his alma mater into the NCCAA regional tournaments in both 1998 and 1999 and was named as the NCCAA Regional Coach of the Year in 1998.
Flower works full-time as the Lead Pastor at LIFEhouse Church Shenandoah in Winchester, Va.
