Shenandoah (6-6, 3-2 ODAC) led 6-3 at the break but needed a rally as Bridgewater (4-8, 1-4) stormed back in the second half.
The Eagles scored the initial four goals of the second half, turning that three-goal deficit into a 7-6 with 21:36 to play.
Just less than six minutes later, freshman Becky Bove finished off a fastbreak by taking a feed from senior Samantha Donaghy and ripping her high shot past BC keeper Rachel Gruber to knot the contest at 7-7.
At 13:10, junior Liz Bereit converted her second free position shot of the game to put the Hornets back on top to stay.
The goal was also Bereit's third of the game.
Shenandoah added insurance goals at 12:39 and 8:55 before BC closed out the game on a Jesse Colligan free position goal as time expired.
Senior Samantha Sisson led all players with four goals and one assist with Donaghy adding two goals and two assists.
Ashley Cross had 12 saves, including eight in the first half, to preserve the victory.
SU held advantages of 23-22 in shots and 13-8 in groundballs while the Eagles took 11 of 19 draw controls.
Shenandoah is on the road on Saturday at Roanoke in a 5:00 ODAC contest.
