Hornets on Parade

WINCHESTER, Va. - As part of the 83rd Annual Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival, Shenandoah University once again had a float Saturday's Grand Feature Parade.

For the second straight year, the majority of the Hornets 20 intercollegiate teams were represented by at least one player marching beside the float constructed by the university's Physical Plant.

Student-athletes marched along the parade route and passed out mini-footballs and basketballs to the crowd.

The Apple Blossom Festival annually attracts over 200,000 visitors to three-day event.
