Lynchburg Wins Hornet Women's Lax Battle
LYNCHBURG, Va. - Host Lynchburg College won the battle of the
women's lacrosse Hornets with a 17-3 non-league victory over
Shenandoah Friday night.
LC (2-0) scored the opening seven goals of the game and never
looked back against Shenandoah (1-2).

Nicholson finally broke through for the SU Hornets with an
unassisted goal at 13:21 of the first.
Lynchburg then sandwiched a 9-1 run around the half to take a 16-2
lead by the 10:32 mark of the second.

Hibble scored Shenandoah's two other goals while goalkeeper Danielle
Lawson made seven saves on 36 Lynchburg shots.
LC won the groundball battled 25-22 and grabbed 14 of 22 draw
controls.
