Women's Golf Eighth at Bridgewater

HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Shenandoah University women's golf team completed its participation in the Bridgewater Fall Invitational Sunday with an eighth place finish.

Playing again on the Mountain and Lake nines at Lakeview Golf Club, the Hornets shot 390 Sunday afternoon to post a 760 total for the two-day tournament.

Host Bridgewater won the tournament with a 620; the Eagles shot 306 Sunday after posting a 314 in Saturday's opening round.

Shenandoah finished seven shots back of ODAC opponent Hollins.

Sophomore Emily Conrad paced SU over the par-72, 5805-yard layout on Sunday with a 22-over-par 94.

Conrad improved seven spots to finish tied for 31st overall.

Madison Ngo and Sara Eadie finished tied for 35th after shooting 97 and 100, respectively, Sunday.

Katie Davis had a 99 and MacKenzie Slattery 102, with Slattery's score not counting toward the team total.

Playing as individuals, Kylie Galano carded 110 and Gabe Cintron 115.

The Hornets are back in action on October 3 and 4 at the Washington and Lee Invitational.
