CK Calhoun was the women's basketball coach from August 2012 until May 2014. The following is her bio as it appeared when she was the head coach.

The Shenandoah University women's basketball program entered a new era in August 2012 with the addition of C.K. Calhoun as head coach.

Calhoun is the third full-time head coach in program history and the 10th person to lead the program since its inception in the mid 1970s.

In her first season as the Hornets head coach, Calhoun led Shenandoah to a top six finish in the regular season ODAC race, a win in the opening ODAC Tournament game and a quarterfinal round appearance in Salem.

This outstanding performance came after two years as the lead assistant at fellow ODAC school Randolph-Macon.

The Yellow Jackets had 37 wins, including 29 in ODAC play, during Calhoun's two seasons in Ashland. R-MC won the ODAC championship in 2010-11.

Prior to R-MC, the Alexandria, Virginia native spent two seasons as an assistant coach at her alma mater, Marymount University, under legendary coach Bill Finney.

Calhoun was Finney's top assistant with the Saints and directed on-court instruction, strength and conditioning, fundraising and academic monitoring as well as serving as recruiting coordinator.
