Shenandoah (10-12, 6-7 ODAC) was a 72-66 winner in the Winchester meeting with the two schools, but the Eagles (12-9, 9-4) answered back in the return matchup.
BC shot 49 percent from the field (25 for 51) to more than make up for an 11-rebound deficit and gain the split of the season series.
The Eagles led 26-17 at the break and expanded the lead to 23 points by the 8:24 mark of the second before the Hornets began to climb back into the contest.
SU scored 20 of the final 28 points of the contest, but ran out of time in attempting the comeback.
In the first half, the two teams traded the lead twice and were tied on two other occasions before Bridgewater, on the strength of an 8-0 run from the 9:18 to 6:06 marks, took the lead for good.
Shenandoah was able to cut its deficit to one point following an Imani Heggins layup at 4:08, but BC ended the half on another 8-0 run to take the nine-point lead into the break.
The Hornets would get no closer than nine points for the remainder of the contest.
Heggins led SU with 17 points while Nicole Gilbertson had another double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Molly Shelley had 17 and Cassidy Burkholder 14 for the hosts.
Shenandoah continues this road trip on Saturday with a 2:00 contest at Randolph.
