Women's Hoops Postponed

WINCHESTER, Va. - With a significant winter snowstorm expected for the northern Shenandoah Valley Friday night into Saturday, the SU women's basketball game scheduled for Saturday has been postponed.

The Hornets, 5-4, were scheduled to host Eastern Mennonite on Saturday at 2:00 in their final non-league game of the season.

This game is now postponed; the two teams have worked out a tentative date in 2010 to play the game. This date, and the time of the makeup contest, will be announced when plans are finalized.

The women are now off until hosting Christopher Newport on January 6 in a USA South Conference contest.
