Track Enters Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Shenandoah University men's and women's indoor track & field teams have earned their first-ever national and regional rankings in power polls announced Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Hornets, in their first year as varsity programs this year, are 63rd and 67th nationally for the women and men, respectively.

Both teams are ranked ninth in the South Region.

Both the national and regional rankings are determined by points earned by a select number of athletes at each meet - a full explanation of the scoring system is available here.

SU is back in action this Saturday at the Dickinson (Pa.) Invitational.
