The newest administrative staff member is a familiar face to SU fans; Eric Wagner is in his fifth year with the department and second in his role as coordinator of team services.

In this position, Wagner oversees travel for the department's 20 intercollegiate teams and over 50 staffers.

Wagner received his bachelor's degree from Western Maryland (now McDaniel) College where he played freshman basketball and participated for one season in both varsity football and track. Following his time in Westminster, Wagner moved onto George Washington University where he received his master's degree.

After serving two years of active duty in the Army, Wagner worked for over 35 years with the Internal Revenue Service where he was a senior manager in resources management before retiring in January 2006.

Besides working at Shenandoah, Eric also serves as a substitute teacher in Frederick County. He is an avid golfer who loves to run and has more than 15 years of youth soccer coaching experience.

Wagner and his wife, Lynn, the administrative assistant for the SU football team, have two grown children.
