WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee announced Thursday its second-ever Fall Fest.
For the 2012 Fall Fest, happening October 16-24, fans will have the opportunity to wear four different colors: red, white, blue and pink.
The fest starts with a 'white-out' for the men's soccer game against Randolph-Macon on October 16. Game time 7:00.
A day later, fans will have two opportunities to support fall teams as women's soccer hosts Eastern Mennonite and volleyball takes on Bridgewater in a pair of 7:00 contests.
Fans are encouraged to wear red to the women's soccer game and pink to the volleyball contest. The volleyball match is the squad's annual "Dig Pink" event and all donations collected will go to the Side Out Foundation in order to support breast cancer research.
The final two events, football versus Randolph-Macon on October 20 and field hockey versus Eastern Mennonite on October 24, are perfect opportunities to wear the 'Fall Fest' t-shirts.
Shirts are $10, or three for $25, and can be purchased in the main athletics office in Shingleton Gymnasium.
For more information, please contact SAAC VP Sydney Anderson or advisor C.K. Calhoun.
