WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team earned its second win of the 2018 season with a 5-4 victory Saturday night over DII Shepherd University in a match played indoors at Winchester Country Club.
Shenandoah (2-0) opened up with two wins in doubles before grabbing victories at Nos. 2, 3 and 4 singles to close out the win over Shepherd (1-3).
Frack, playing No. 4, had the match-clinching win. He downed Lewis Charette 7-6 (5), 6-0.
The Rams won the remaining three singles matches to provide the final margin of victory.
The men are back in action on March 8 versus Defiance (Ohio) in a neutral site matc played in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
