Shenandoah (1-8, 0-6 ODAC) held a 2-1 lead over the Wasps (3-10, 1-4) after doubles and was tied, 3-3, following an Evan Rosenberg 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles, but could not get the two remaining wins it needed to clinch the team victory.
Three of the six singles matches went to three sets, including a marathon 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 win for John Ferguson over Matt Hwang at No. 1 singles. The two men battled for four hours before Ferguson was able to come out on top.
At No. 2, Zach Frack fell 5-7, 6-1, 2-6 to Kamil Aliev.
