FREDRICKSBURG, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's tennis team had a strong start Saturday to its participation in the ITA Southeast Regionals.
Dubin and Hwang opened with an 8-1 win over Edward Doyle and Nathan Roberts from Germanna CC before taking out Andrew Rainger and Patrick MacLean from Salisbury in the quarterfinals.
The duo won that match 8-4. Dubin and Hwang face Matthew Katz and Jeremy Novick from Washington College at 8 a.m. in the flight semis.
The championship is scheduled for 9:15 and should Dubin and Hwang win, they will be guaranteed to face an ODAC opponent in the championship. The other semi-final features teams from Hampden-Sydney and Bridgewater.
