Alumni Men's Soccer Game Announced

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics Department announced Wednesday that it will be holding its annual men's soccer alumni event on April 24.

All alumni of the SU men's and women's soccer programs are invited back to campus to join in an afternoon of fun and competition with their former teammates and members of the current squads.

The fifth annual men's event will begin with registration at noon on the old (lower) soccer field located adjacent to the parking garage and the Brandt Student Center.

The women will register beginning at 11 a.m. Complete women's information can be found here.

For the men, we anticipate running a 7-a-side tournament again this year consisting of at least two alumni teams and two teams made up of members of the current team. Play begins at 1:15 p.m.

Please bring white shorts, cleats, socks and shinguards.

In response to requests from last year, the bookstore (located in Brandt Student Center) will be open beginning at 10 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to check out the SU soccer apparel on display. 

Please park in the parking garage or the lower lot next to the Brandt Student Center. Lockerroom facilities will be available in Shingleton Gymnasium.

Like the women, we will have a cookout following the completion of play.
