Pride Shuts Out Men's Soccer
WINCHESTER, Va. - Visiting Greensboro College opened up its USA
South Conference men's soccer slate Saturday afternoon with a 5-0
victory over Shenandoah.
Greensboro (5-3-1, 1-0 USA South) got all of the offense it would
need when Andrew Clark scored off of a Quinton Hurdle service at
16:52.
The Pride tacked on a pair on unassisted goals at 19:05 and 21:41,
the former a penalty kick conversion, to take a 3-0 lead into
halftime over the Hornets (0-9-2, 0-1).
Dene Abiel completed the scoring for the Pride with unassisted
goals in the 62nd and 69th minutes.
Greensboro outshot Shenandoah 15-4 for the contest.
