Hornets Picked Fifth in Lax Poll
ASTON, Pa. - Shenandoah University is the pre-season No. 5 men's lacrosse selection of the Colonial States Athletic Conference coaches in a poll released Tuesday by the league.
The Hornets, coming off of a 5-7, 2-4 CSAC season, received 23 points in the poll of the league's coaches to come in just behind fourth place Centenary (N.J.).
Perennial league power Cabrini was once again the selection to win it all in 2010. CC has made eight straight appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
Shenandoah opens its season this Saturday with a non-league game at Hood College.
