BEAUFORT, S.C. – The Shenandoah University men's golf team maintained its 14th place position Tuesday following the final round of the adidas/TaylorMade Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.
SU shot its best round of the two-day, 54-hole event Tuesday with a collective 332 over the par-72, 6738-yard Cotton Dike course on Dataw Island, South Carolina.
Junior Robert Fox had the best round of the day with a four-over-par 76 and his 242 total was good for a tie for 36th.
Senior Doc Schulte, who shot 80 Tuesday, was the Hornets top finisher. His 241 three-round total earned him sole possession of 35th place.
Greensboro won the tournament by one stroke over Kenyon with a 920.
Shenandoah finished 20 strokes back of No. 13 Hanover.
The men are now off until participating in the Marine Corps Intercollegiate at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina from March 23-25.
