WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's golf team completed the hosting of its own 15-team invitational Monday with a 10th place finish.
Playing again at the par-71, 6367-yard Winchester Country Club, SU shot a 315 Monday afternoon after posting a 313 in Sunday's opening round.
With scoring conditions improved following last night's rain, four teams carded sub-300 rounds and Shenandoah fell to 10th from its tied for fourth showing in round one.
The Mustangs and Shepherd both had Monday's low round, with each shooting a collective 292.
SU finished two shots back of Mary Washington and three shots in front of SUNY-Delhi.
H-SC had three of the top five finishers, including medalist Bruce Shober. Shober shot 71-70-141 (-1) to win by four strokes over Stevenson's Luke McKeogh.
Shober was remarkably consistent over the two days, posting four birdies and just three bogies along with the 30 pars.
Dubin had two birdies and 11 pars in recording his team-low round Monday.
Shenandoah is back in action this weekend at the Purple Raider Invitational hosted by Mount Union.
