Hoops Announces Midnight Madness

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University basketball programs announced Wednesday that they will be hosting a Midnight Madness Friday night to celebrate the beginning of official basketball practice.

Beginning at 11 p.m. Friday evening in Shingleton Gymnasium, the session will feature intra-squad scrimmages for both the men and women as well as three-point and free throw shooting contests.

For the fans, various Shenandoah University basketball apparel items will be both given away to the "Fan of the Night" and offered as prizes in a progression shooting contest.

This is a free event and is open the public as well as all SU faculty, staff and students.

"This will be a great opportunity for all of our fans to get a sneak peek at both of our teams," head women's coach Michelle Guyant-Holloway said. "I would like to invite everyone to come out and join us. It is going to be a fun evening."
