GLEN ALLEN, Va. - Shenandoah University stands tied for seventh after day one of the Ted Keller Memorial Golf Tournament hosted by Randolph-Macon College.
The Hornets, playing in an 11-team field that includes seven ODAC schools, shot a collective 318 on day one of the two-day tourney.
Junior Zach Ramey paced SU over the par-72, 6882-yard Hunting Hawk GC layout with a four-over-par 76.
Ramey is in a six-way tie for 16th.
The Hornets' 318 puts them in a three-way tie with fellow ODAC schools Roanoke and Bridgewater for seventh.
Host Randolph-Macon leads with a 290 while Guilford is four shots back of the Yellow Jackets.
SU, BC and RC all trail Washington and Lee by four strokes.
The tournament concludes Sunday.
