Golf Wraps Up at H-SC

FARMVILLE, Va. - The Shenandoah University men's golf team completed its two-day run at the Hampden-Sydney Invitational with a collective 324 Tuesday afternoon.

The two-day total of 668 gives the Hornets an 11th place finish in the 36-hole event.

Shenandoah had a tie for the eighth-best round Tuesday over the par-72, 6827-yard The Manor course.

Host Hampden-Sydney won the tourney with a 596 - the Tigers won it by 16 strokes over Ferrum and 17 over Averett.

Junior David Rynecki was the SU medalist after carding an 80 Tuesday for a 163 total. Sophomore Zach Ramey posted the team's lowest round of the tourney with a seven-over-par 79 Tuesday afternoon.

John Judy had an 82 and Adam Delauter 85 to round out the second-round team score.

The team continues its fall schedule this weekend with the Randolph-Macon Invitational at Hunting Hawk Golf Course.
