Golf Wraps Season
MEBANE, N.C. - Shenandoah University completed its season Sunday afternoon by shooting a collective 389 on day three of the USA South Conference Golf Championships.
The Hornets finished seventh in the 54-hole tournament with a collective 1150 total. National No. 1 Methodist won the title by 50 strokes over second-place Greensboro; MU was a collective two-under-par for the tournament.
Methodist actually swept the top five places in the league tourney with Josh Schrader winning medalist honors with a 76-70-68--214. Schrader's two-under-par total won him the title by one stroke over teammate Trey Howell.
Junior Josh Wiegand was Shenandoah's top finisher with an 81-77-82--240 to finish 20th overall.
