Wiegand Earns HM Accolades

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Junior Josh Wiegand has earned All-USA South golf honors in selections announced Thursday morning by the league.

Wiegand, who has been the Hornets medalist in every tournament this season, earned honorable mention honors for the second straight year.

In 15 rounds this season, Wiegand has a 77.5 stroke average and five top 10 finishes in seven tournaments.

Following a 74-74--148, fourth place finish at the Virginia State Division III Championships in the fall, Wiegand was named as the league's Player of the Week.

Wiegand and the Hornets complete their seasons this weekend at the USA South Championships.
