Golf 29th at Camp Lejeune

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - Shenandoah University shot a collective 300-322-622 Friday and Saturday to finish 29th in the 36-hole portion of the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate in Camp Lejeune, N.C.

The Hornets finish in this part of the tournament, during which time the three-man collegiate groupings were paired with a military veteran, places SU into the Scarlet Tournament for Sunday's 18-hole round.

Sophomore Josh Wiegand led Shenandoah in the 36-hole tournament with a 73-78-151 with senior Taylor Chamberlin one stroke back.

Chamberlin had a team-low 71 in Friday's round on the Scarlet Course with Wiegand posting a team-best 78 on the Gold Course Saturday.

On Sunday, the Hornets shot a collective 297 to round out the tournament with a tie for 11th place in the Scarlet Tournament.
