Aguilar Named to Honor Roll
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Shenandoah University junior field hockey player Paola Aguilar has been named to the womensfieldhockey.com Honor Roll in selections announced Tuesday by the Website.
Aguilar, who leads the Hornets with five goals and five assists for 15 points, had a school record three assists in Shenandoah's 4-1 MAC Commonwealth victory over Arcadia Saturday afternoon.
The victory is the first-ever conference win for the seven-year-old program. SU joined the MAC this fall after playing six seasons as an independent.
In addition to setting the new school mark for assists in a game, Aguilar scored the game-winning-goal in overtime victories over Hood and Virginia Wesleyan colleges last week.
Shenandoah is back in action Friday afternoon with a non-league game at Sweet Briar.
