Heading up the Hornets offense is veteran high school and college coach Stan Hodgin.
Hodgin came to Shenandoah after two seasons as the offensive coordinator at fellow ODAC member Emory and Henry.
In 2012, Hodgin's offense averaged a second-best-in-the-league 264.3 yards passing and three players earned All-ODAC honors.
Prior to his experience with the Wasps, Hodgin was the quarterbacks coach at Averett University in 2010 and a high school head coach, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for 20 years.
In addition to leading offenses that have averaged over 380 yards and 31 points per game, Hodgin has coached five players that eventually played professional football and every quarterback he tutored in high school and college has advanced to play at the next level.
Hodgin and his wife, Laurie, are the parents of four children: Ashley, Zoe, Casey and Delaney.
