FOREST, Va. - Sophomore free safety Nate Hill has been named ODAC Defensive Player of the Week in selections announced Sunday afternoon by the league office.

Hill, from Gaithersburg, Maryland, earns his first-ever ODAC accolade after registering two interceptions, a forced fumble, three pass breakups and a tackle in the Hornets 61-14 non-league victory over N.C. Wesleyan Saturday night.

His first interception, in the first quarter, came deep in SU territory while his fourth quarter pick led to the Hornets seventh touchdown of the contest.

His forced fumble came on the Bishops first possession of the game and after NCWC had advanced inside the Hornets 30-yard line.

Shenandoah is back in action this Saturday night in a 7 p.m. non-league game at Hobart.
