WINCHESTER, Va. - Catch the Hornets Buzz!

It's almost time for football once again at Shenandoah University, and we want you to be a part of all the exciting action on Sprint Field at Shentel Stadium this fall!

The process of our 2017 football season ticket drive is underway and we would like to invite you to experience NCAA Division III football in the northern Shenandoah Valley this year.

The Hornets, under the direction of fifth-year head coach Scott Yoder, open the 2017 home campaign September 2 with a 7 p.m. game non-league contest versus Gallaudet

Yoder's squad also hosts Emory and Henry, Bridgewater, Apprentice School and Washington and Lee this fall with the Bridgewater game, on October 14 at 7 p.m., part of Homecoming Weekend 2017.

The E&H, Apprentice and W&L games are all set for 1 p.m. starts with the Washington and Lee game on November 11 serving as Senior Day.

The honor guards from both the Frederick County Sheriff's Office and Winchester Police Department are tentatively scheduled to present the nation's colors prior to both the Homecoming game on October 14 and Senior Day contest on November 11.
