WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University senior Rico Wallace had a final opportunity to impress NFL scouts with his participation in a Pro Day at James Madison University Friday afternoon.
Wallace performed various skill work, such as a 40-yard dash, standing broad jump and bench press, as well as position-specific drills for NFL scouts in preparation for the annual NFL draft next month.
The day, which was attended by representatives from the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens and Carolina Panthers, wrapped up with written tests.
Pro Days are organized both for players who participated in the NFL combine and for those who were not invited to Indianapolis.
Wallace led Shenandoah with a school-record 67 receptions for 1241 yards and 14 touchdowns. Those are all new school season records and Wallace left the SU program holding every significant game, season and career receiving record.
