Wallace Named D3ProDay All-America

VOORHEES, N.J. - Senior wide receiver Rico Wallace has been named a D3ProDay All-America in selections announced Thursday evening by the organization.

Wallace led Shenandoah with 67 receptions for 1241 yards and 14 touchdowns this past fall to earn second team All-America honors.

A two-time first team All-USA South honoree, Wallace has also earned D3football.com All-Region and VaSID All-State honors in 2011.

Prior to the start of the season, Wallace was named a D3ProDay pre-season All-America.

Wallace completed his career holding every major game, season and career receiving record at Shenandoah.

The end of Wallace' career also marks the end of the Hornets time in the USA South. Shenandoah begins its first season in the ODAC next fall and opens the season on September 1 at Stevenson.
